It was discovered after a man died of Hanta Virus in Yunnan, China.
The victim was returning from Shandong Province by bus for work. He was found to be Hanta virus-positive. 32 passengers traveling with him on the bus were also checked. China's state-run newspaper Global Times has reported the news on social media.
A large number of people have started tweeting expressing the concern that Hanta Virus could spread like an outbreak like corona. In India, the Hantavirus has reached the third number trending on Twitter.
This virus transmits from uncooked rat meat.

What is Hanta Virus?
Experts say this virus is not as deadly as Corona. Unlike corona, it does not spread through the air.
It spreads to people who come to contact with rats or locusts. But the virus does not transmit from one person to another. If a person touches rats, feces, urine, etc, and touches his/her eyes, nose, and mouth they are likely to get infected.
Symptoms of the virus include headache, fever, body aches, abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. The patient may die if they don't get proper treatment. The mortality rate of this virus is 38%

15 tourists from India visited Nepal on Monday. They were staying at Everest Panorama Resort in Makwanpur, Thahaa Municipality. People of Kerala (hot climate area) felt extremely cold in Daman. Although there was an electric mattress they took a heater from reception. Those people who were sleeping in another room too came to get warmth from the heater. And they kept all the windows and doors closed.
All of them did not get up till late morning. The hotel staff found them unconscious when they went to serve Tea. Soon they were airlifted to Hams hospital in Kathmandu. Doctors declared them dead as soon as they were admitted to ICU. The cause of death was said to be suffocation while sleeping with a heater on.

A young man from Panchthar, who was working in Korea through the Employment Permit System (EPS), committed suicide last night. Vivek Rai had been working in Korea on an EPS visa for the past two and a half years.

He was found dead this morning in Nongjang. Dumbar, a Nepali friend who works with the company, said that he did not know that he had gone out to sleep after eating and sleeping with him yesterday.

After seeing the friend hanging, he called the owner of the company and informed the police. The body was taken out for the postmortem after the police had arrived.
