15 tourists from India visited Nepal on Monday. They were staying at Everest Panorama Resort in Makwanpur, Thahaa Municipality. People of Kerala (hot climate area) felt extremely cold in Daman. Although there was an electric mattress they took a heater from reception. Those people who were sleeping in another room too came to get warmth from the heater. And they kept all the windows and doors closed.
All of them did not get up till late morning. The hotel staff found them unconscious when they went to serve Tea. Soon they were airlifted to Hams hospital in Kathmandu. Doctors declared them dead as soon as they were admitted to ICU. The cause of death was said to be suffocation while sleeping with a heater on.
